Leadership Councils

Small, trusted peer groups for LGBTQ+ climate leaders working on similar problems. Share insight, surface trends, and support one another's work.

Why Leadership Councils?

Senior climate professionals rarely get honest, off-the-record peer exchange. Conference panels are performative. Slack channels are noisy. Internal teams lack outside perspective.

Leadership Councils create a different container: 10–30 professionals in the same sector, meeting quarterly, under Chatham House Rules. Structured enough to be useful, small enough to be candid.

How it works

01

Apply

Full Members ($1,000/year, typically employer-paid) apply to a topic-based council. We curate for seniority and diversity of perspective.

02

Convene

Meet quarterly on Zoom (60 min). Structured round-robin on current work, thematic discussion, peer support and introductions.

03

Exchange

Candid, off-the-record conversation across organizations. What's working, what's not, where the field is headed.

04

Publish

Each council produces one annual insight brief on sector trends and challenges. No attribution, no marketing.

Council topics

Initial councils planned. Topics may evolve based on member interest.

"These intimate discussions produce takeaways that feel more special, honest, and relevant."

Who should apply

Leadership Councils are for professionals who make or influence decisions on capital, policy, or deployment. You have 5+ years in climate, hold a senior or principal-level role, and want candid peer exchange outside your own organization.

Membership requires a Full Membership ($1,000/year, typically employer-paid) and a short application. We curate each council for balance across roles, organizations, and perspectives.
